The Phoenix Camera Club meets at the YWCA at 755 East Willetta Street in Phoenix, in the Board Room just off the lobby.
We meet on the third Saturday of each month from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
The YWCA is very easy to get to, click here for a map.
Take the 7th Street exit off the I-10 freeway and go north a very short distance to the first cross street, which is Willetta. Turn right on Willetta and go 1/2 block east to the YWCA (just past the large parking structure). There is ample parking available on the west and south sides of the YWCA building.
PCC hosts monthly competitions in the following categories:
Monochrome / Black and White
Color ("B" or "A" class*)
Theme of the month (see above for a list of recent & upcoming themes)
Creative Print (color or monochrome, every other month**)
Color
Medium Format (every other month**)
Open ("B" or "A" class*)
Theme of the month (see a list of recent & upcoming themes here)
Creative (every other month**)
* "B" class is for beginning to intermediate photographers, "A" class is for advanced photographers
** The Medium format slides, Creative Digital, and Creative Print categories compete every other month. See the latest CLIX for the current schedule.
A member may submit a maximum of 8 entries per month, with a maximum of two entries per category.
